I have tried removing the plexmediaserver.pid and Preferences.xml and restarting.īut I cannot make the wizard appear, and the server. If I stop the Plex Docker it will 404 instead on 192.168.1.2:32400/web which means the Plex installs fine. I am not prompted with the wizard that I should see from a new install. And when I do that I will be redirected to where it is "Looking for servers". 'x' means something different on folders than files. All of those folders need to have r and x permission on them. sudo chown -R plex:plex /var/lib/plexmediaserver to transfer ownership to Plex and try starting it again.
